Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec welcomes MNAs to Observatoire de la Capitale

On March 17, Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec welcomed the MNAs of the 39th legislature to Observatoire de la Capitale.

Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity Sam Hamad took the opportunity to welcome new MNAs to the capital. Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec President and CEO Jacques Langlois then presented the Commission’s various mandates and accomplishments. Historian Jean-Marie Lebel was invited to present brief history of Québec City.

A different way of visiting Québec City

This was an excellent opportunity for political representatives from across the province to discover Quebec City. Observatoire de la Capitale is a great place to get a bird’s eye view of 400 years of history. A guided tour at over 220 meters of altitude allows guests to familiarize themselves with the national capital’s history and geography.

To further familiarize new MNAs with the city, the Commission also distributed six publications to each guest, including the magnificent “Le Vieux-Québec à travers son patrimoine.”
